Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring to the lesson?
Swimsuit or wetsuit
Sunglasses and Croakies
Sunscreen
Something for your feet that can get wet, like booties, water shoes, or an old pair of sneakers
Life Jacket - an eFoil is a watercraft in Florida and you are required to wear a lifejacket. Bring your own or borrow ours!
Towel - we have showers available after the lesson if you’re interested
What will you supply?
Two Lift eFoil boards with multiple propellers/wings depending on your level
Adjustable helmets with walkie talkies so we can communicate on the water
Knee pads to make the transition from knees to feet more comfortable
Hours of flight experience, both from the Navy and from my eFoil
Is eFoiling Hard?
Can you surf, skate, SUP, Onewheel or snowboard? You can be airborne foiling above the waves in no time. If not you can still learn to efoil, it just may take a little more time. It takes time to get good, but it’s always fun.
Do I really need a lesson?
You may not but spending a little time in a lesson will drastically reduce your learning curve. One of the great things about eFoiling is there’s all sorts of progression, and if you start with a firm base it’s much easier.
